AMHCA Meets with National Council for Behavioral Health Representatives

The National Council for Behavioral Health (the National Council) (https://www.thenationalcouncil.org/) is the unifying voice ofAmerica’s health care organizations and agencies that deliver mental health and addictions treatment and services. The Council represents 3100 member organizations serving over 10 million adults, children and families living with mental illnesses and addictions.

The National Council introduced“Mental Health First Aid USA”and more than 1.5 million Americans have been trained. The National Council coordinates theMental Health First Aid program and operates theSAMHSA-HRSA Center forIntegrated Health Solutions to provide nationwide technical assistance on integrating primary and behavioral healthcare.
