Ready to serve? Board Application Cycle Open
AMHCA elections are your chance to help lead the association dedicated to positioning clinical mental health counselors to meet the health care needs of those we serve while advancing the profession.
AMHCA is currently seeking the following to serve in leadership positions:
Federal Advocacy: House Bill Introduced in 117th Congress
The Medicare bill has been introduced in Congress by Rep. Mike Thompson (D-CA): H.R.432 - To amend title XVIII of the Social Security Act to provide for the coverage of marriage and family therapist services and mental health counselor services under part B of the Medicare program, and for other purposes. Once the bill is introduced in the Senate look for a grassroots advocacy campaign now being formed by us and our coalitions.
