When:  Jan 17, 2023 from 13:00 to 14:30 (ET)
From Self-Care to Soul-Care: Radically Restorative Practices for Clinicians
with Judith E. Lipson, M.A., LPC

Since the pandemic, behavioral health professionals have been observing a renewed focus not only on public health but on their role as a "frontline" worker. As the virus continued to spread, we also experienced a clinical shift due to systemic racism, violence, historical unemployment rates, political discord, national terrorism while navigating virtual connectedness. Our self-care as behavioral health professionals must remain safe and steady to provide clients with the care we know we are capable of offering. Our self-care is continuous but begins with a force, thus activating the pendulum of self-restoration.

Objectives:
- Participants will be able to describe/discuss the intersection of self-care and restorative practices restoration for clinicians
- Participants will be able to identify three factors that influence the need to rethink self-care
- Participants will be able to verbalize three restorative practices and/or resources
