Learning Objectives:

  • Understand the CBT Framework for Addressing Body Image Issues: Participants will gain a foundational understanding of how Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) conceptualizes body image concerns and the cognitive, emotional, and behavioral factors involved.
  • Identify and Address Cognitive Distortions Impacting Body Image: Attendees will learn to recognize common cognitive distortions related to body dissatisfaction and practice applying CBT techniques to help clients reframe negative self-perceptions.
  • Utilize Practical CBT Interventions to Support Body Image Resilience: By the end of the presentation, participants will be equipped with actionable CBT strategies, including thought challenging and exposure exercises, to foster body positivity and self-acceptance in client.
