I specialize in parenting, marriage and family counseling with a focus on building the family relationship to support the growth of all members of the family. I am a certified Child Adolescent Development Specialist (Behavioral). I also work with clients suffering from PTSD and other military service related issues. My primary treatment approach utilizes Cognitive Behavior Therapy and Solution Focus Bried Therapy. As a Certified Forensic Mental Health Evaluator and a Cetified Forensic Interviewer, I am uniquely prepared to asisst families involved in the court system.
As a former school counselor I understand the difficulties that can arise with school age children and their education. Additionally, I have specialized training in marriage counseling and can work with couples in repairing or just strengthening their marriage. I hold a doctorate in Biblical Theology and will counsel from a Christian perspective when asked.
I am the mother of five (biological and adopted) and grandmother of 8 (with two on the way!).
