Hello Everyone,
I was very happy to meet all of you at the annual Leadership Conference. During many of the breakouts and presentations I noticed that there was a need to continue the conversations that began at those presentations and open forums. I’m grateful that AMHCA was able to put this community together so we can share ideas and continue the conversation. My hopes are to use this blog to continue the conversations we started in PA and continue to promote ideas to help other state chapters around the country.
My goal is to try and provide some assistance whenever I can and if there is a way to answer specific questions you may have, my hopes are to use the experience we have gained here in MA to help your state chapter.
Professional identity and autonomy is important to all of us. We hold ourselves to the highest standards and my hope is that with this blog we can get every state where it needs to be so we can continue to improve our profession and provide the best services we can. Please ask questions often and please check this page often.
Some topics I hope to address, but please ask if you think there should be more, are:
I hope that it serves to assist in whatever questions you may have.
