The value of the mutually beneficial relationship between the state chapters and AMHCA relies on a well-defined, understood, and accepted expectations. Our shared expectations serve to unify our efforts and support and enhance the performance of the AMHCA enterprise as a whole.
These expectations can be boiled down to three key areas:
- Shared vision and mission
- Service to mission and members
- Operational integrity
Since no one size fits all, AMHCA wants to create a system with its chapters that centers on core shared values while allowing for the operational flexibility needed by chapters working in different circumstances in different areas throughout the country.
Ultimately, AMHCA wants to help state chapter leaders develop a sustainable, thriving association model that meets the needs of chapter members wherever they are, while ensuring and addressing our respective needs and promoting our interests on many fronts.
