February 3, 2010 ñ AMHCA is pleased to name Representative Thomas J. Rooney as Honorary Chair of its 2010 Mental Health Counseling Week, May 3-9, 2010. Rep. Rooney represents the 16th District of Florida.
AMHCA wishes to honor Rep. Rooney for the attention he continues to pay to improving the military's mental health system. AMHCA is especially grateful for Representative Rooney's focused attention to promoting the mental health counseling profession by advocating its employment throughout the Department of Defense and Veterans' Affairs mental health systems.
