Publication of the fifth edition of Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders (DSM-5) is scheduled for May 2013. The preliminary draft revisions to the current diagnostic criteria for psychiatric diagnoses are now available for public review and comment. View revisions online at www.dsm5.org.

AMHCA encourages its members to take the time to review these changes and, if you wish, register on the site and provide feedback. Please continue to check the DSM-5 site for updates to criteria and for more information about the development process.

The proposed criteria listed on the site are not final, but are initial drafts of the recommendations that have been made to date by the DSM-5 Work Groups. Viewers will be able to submit comments until April 20, 2010. After that time, the site will be available for viewing only.
