A Message from AMHCA's President:
As part of our long-term vision for growth and sustainability, the Board has made the decision to explore the use of an Association Management Company (AMC). This was announced on October 10th and the Request for Proposals was published on November 11th. The Board is confident this direction will best position AMHCA for continued success and greater impact in the years ahead.
We have collected questions as a part of the request for proposals and have published the answers. If you are an interested AMC looking to draft a proposal, please email president@AMHCA.org to receive the information. AMHCA has had a great response with 12 AMCs submitting questions and at least 15 AMCs indicating that they plan to submit a proposal.
AMHCA is formally adjusting the timeline for proposals in the RFP. We have some scheduling changes for our board members and for AMHCA staff around the holidays impacting our ability to review proposals. The AMHCA office will be closed 12/23/25 - 1/1/2026. AMCs will now have until 12/12/2025 to submit a proposal.

Finalists selected and notified: 12/29/2025
Interviews scheduled: 1/5/2026 – 1/16/2026
Final selection made: 1/23/2026
Transition begins: At the time notice goes out and contracts/agreements are complete.
Contract begins: On or around 2/1/2026
