Certification - Clinical Mental Health Counseling Student

Who is this credential for?

This certification is for those who are currently enrolled in a Master's or higher counseling program. The applicant must be an active/current Student member of AMHCA (membership required to maintain credential).

What does this credential represent?

The AMHCA Student certification signifies that a person is a Clinical Mental Health Counseling Student and acknowledges a  commitment to the profession. 

Successful applicants will be awarded a certificate.

Complete Requirements

Be a Student member of AMHCA.

Upload a copy of their current class schedule indicating student status.

Applicant will also read the Clinical Mental Health Counselor Declaration, and will discuss it with a classmate or peer. 


An AMHCA Student or Professional Associate membership is required to apply for one of our advanced credentialing certifications. Not yet a member? Great news!
