A huge thank you to all who attended AMHCA’s Annual Conference in Seattle earlier this month!
It was a great time with amazing speakers and workshops. The dedication and commitment of our members, speakers, conference organizers, staff and board members was a truly humbling – and rewarding – experience for me.
I am so grateful to be a part of such a wonderful cutting edge, dedicated and resourceful organization!
I especially want to show my appreciation for the conference planning committee: Steve Giunta, Eric Oostenink, Keith Mobley, Karen Langer, LaMarr Edgerson, Carol Staben Burroughs.
I also want to thank Emily Cabbage and Wendy Speckerman Grassley with the Grassley Group, who work tirelessly behind the scenes to make our conferences a success.
It was a great event that would not have happened without you all.
And our conference would not have been the success it was without the excellent quality of speakers and presenters. Many thanks for all your informative presentations.
Clinical mental health counselors are on the verge of breaking through and truly thriving in a new era of health care reform.

As we wind down from the adrenaline and rush of the conference, we are also in the midst of planning next year’s conference in Philadelphia. We hope you will join us at the Lowes Philadelphia on July 9-11, 2015 for another wonderful conference aimed at addressing your needs.
Our expectation and goal is that next year’s conference will be even better than this year!
