As CEO of AMHCA I am proud to introduce you to our 2014-15 Board President Dr. Stephen Giunta. Dr. Giunta holds a Ph.D. in Marriage and Family Counseling with a Specialty in Alternative Dispute Resolution from the University of Florida, and a Master’s degree in Psychology from the University of West Georgia. He is Assistant Professor of Counselor Education at Troy University Tampa Bay Site.
As a counselor educator, he has held positions at the University of Minnesota –Duluth, the University of Mississippi and Argosy University-Tampa. Giunta’s clinical work, research and publications have focused on working with families with the context of the judicial system. In addition to his teaching position at Troy University, he has a private practice in Clearwater, Florida. He is a National Certified Counselor and a Licensed Mental Health Counselor in Florida.
