**Previously Recorded on 4/7/2021 - Not a Live Event** Intergenerational Trauma and Cultural Resilience During this presentation attendees will learn about intergenerational and historical trauma including the types of events that may create this type of trauma, how these events may impact clients, and ways to foster cultural resilience in clients. Participants will also be challenged to reflect on their own intergenerational trauma and resilience as a source of strength or a barrier to work effectively with clients. Cultural humility will be introduced as a model to help counselors navigate working with clients from a variety of backgrounds that may present with this type of trauma.
