History of AMHCA
Board of Directors
The AMHCA board of directors is responsible for the formulation of programs and policies for the association.
Much of the association work is carried out by committees. The role of AMHCA committee members is to implement the AMHCA strategic plan. Each committee develops a plan of action according to the strategic plan and submits it to the board for approval at the annual meeting.
The AMHCA national office is a hardworking team of 4 dedicated full-time employees that oversee the daily administration of the organization.
AMHCA clinical members are masters level and higher.
AMHCA student and professional associate members are emerging professionals.
AMHCA associate members are professionals that support mental health counselors.
