PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE
With over 15 years of experience in counseling, supervision, and counselor education, I have dedicated my career to cultivating ethical, inclusive, and restorative practices within the clinical mental health fi eld. I currently serve as an Assistant Professor of Counselor Education at Piedmont University, promoting student development, professional identity, and CACREP-aligned clinical competence. In prior positions, I had oversight of clinical training and supervision initiatives across multiple partner organizations, supporting staff development, accreditation, and licensure preparation. I additionally serve as a Clinical Supervisor with Motivo and provide telehealth therapy through Unlimited Spectrum, advancing accessibility and wellness-based care.
My leadership and teaching emphasize trauma-informed supervision, restorative practices, and the ethical empowerment of counselors at all professional stages.
ASSOCIATION EXPERIENCE
I served for 2 terms as the Chair of the AMHCA Ethics Committee (2023–2024), having also served as a committee member and on the Graduate Student and Emerging Professionals Committee (2022–2023). These roles have allowed me to contribute to AMHCA’s mission through ethical policy development, professional education, and membership engagement.
At the state level, I also served 2 terms as Clinical Supervision Chair for the Licensed Professional Counselors Association of Georgia (2021–2023) and Legislative and Public Policy Chair for the ACA–GA Executive Council (2018–2019). These leadership experiences strengthened my advocacy for counselor wellness, equitable licensure standards, and professional visibility across the Southern Region.
